FreeFlow has been banned and all of his posts deleted. I love Mass Prune.

< sarcasm >
Oh, no! Don't ban him! He might uses his L33T H@x0R SkillZ to get a new IP address and spam the board again! He might H@x0R into my inter-web and delete my files!
< /sarcasm >

I wonder if he realizes that even if he uses his "mAd SkiLLZ" to get a "new" IP address (disconnecting and redialing his modem probably) that a whole range of IPs can be banned.

Sorry guys that was erroneous info I was pulling up. Bain is cool.

phil, this is only slightly related to your post, but if you pay attention to the forums, you'll notice another benefit of not enabling avatars. There's some gross misuse of them (Scantily clad and naked women) on that site, and you may want to sensor your link.

Then again, maybe you want to go over there and browse a while.

Actually I took it off. I was getting a erroneous link to another member. Bain is alright. Well his site is his business not mine.

What is happening is Freeflows name is still showing up as last posted but whatever you do to look at the member by using that name link (like you normaly can before a "prune was done) it now seems to show the member that made one before that. Odd and confused me for a moment. Sorry my mistake.

I noticed that too on a couple of posts. I understand that it's his site and he can do with it what he pleases. But it's just another reason why avatars are inappropriate for this forum, especially because this one represents a company and not just a group of individuals.

You are correct Sir!. It's why we don't have them.

its hard to really ban someone from a forum because all they have to do is connect through a proxy. its not hard to do and it doesnt take any skill

If they connect through a proxy you just ban that proxy's IP address.
