Has anyone seen machining probelms with J&J barrels? The area where the nubbin goes is backwards, you can get a wire one in if you bend it just right. They say they are otut of stock right now, but when they do get them I have to send in the old barrels first. That means I will have to pay shipping charges agian, and be with out a barrel for who knows how long. Anyone else have this problem? How bout some advice?

I ahve never seen a problem with the wire nubbins, but I have seen problems with the new(er) plastic nubbins. Most aftermarket barrel companies did not machine the nubbin groove perfectly to AGD specs because it never mattered. Now with the Plastic nubbins, it does.

It is not even close. All the grooves are oppsite. If the nubbin goes up the groove in the barrel goes down. The part where the wire nubbin curves around to hold it straight is also backwards.
