View Full Version : what type of screw for the grip extender?

what type of screw did you guys get for the kapp foregrip extender? i know its a 1/4 inch thread, but how big should the head of it be?

(if any of you have pictures of your foregrip extender on your mag, or the screw, please post here)

i belive it is a 1/4 - 20 X 3/4" lowhead

if you goto somewhere that sells screws and say that they should know excatly what you are talking about.....
besides just take the rail and the foregrip(and/or extender) in with you for an excat match

well i work in the parts room at my job and i grabed a couple of extras for my self a while back... i'll 2x chk it when i go in 2morrow.... that is unless someone gives you a def. answer 1st

I just bought plain 1/4" x 5/8" machine screws and dremeled the heads down. My normal vert. adapter screw that should have fit inside didn't fit inside.

It's time consuming, but fun, because you get to play airsmith while you use the dremel.

it seems like everyone has a dremel but me! hmm maybe that should be on my christmas list :D
