Well for some reason I thought the idea of making a Plexi Glass aquarium for my pet turtle toby... I want it to be like .5'x1.5'x2' To fit perfect onto of my nightstand... Now i can cut the plexi just fine, but what should I do about watertight bonding the pieces together?

Also any kind of plexi recommended?

you can use MEK (methal ethal keytone) to bond plexiglas, just make sure to do it in a WELL ventalated area

Well see... I have this microwave using it as my nightstand, and i thought it would be cool to have a tank the EXACT size of the microwave (the bottom base), and then have nice little 6" walls for him, and fill it up with water...

just use some caulk designed for it. it will say that its for aquarium use on the side of the tube. one tube should be plenty for your sized project.

You want aquarium 100% silicon glue. You can pipck it up at any aquarium store.

check www.about.com, they have instructions for making your own aquarium.

I'm in the process of building my own terarrium out of melamine for my leopard geckos.
