I'm glad to see it coming back but...

Goodenow should be shot!

The players had a better deal back in February. Although I must say it might bring some interesting competition in years to come it most likely won't bring in much money.

37 Million cap per team and 24 Mil Minimum per team(think that is what I heard on ESPN radio)... something like the highest a player can make is 7 million, which sucks for those that were making over that in previous years. All I can say is they better lower ticket prices... because I'm not going to pay $30+ bucks to watch ok hockey.

With a random draft order, this is going to be something. Crosby is pretty much anybody's game.

We'll wait till I get wrapped up in the season, and good and piss drunk while watching a few games to worry about that lockout.

Same here... I was excited. The Mighty Ducks might be changing their name too. Even more exciting.

Why not... they already ruined the Angels name. Actually from the grapevine I hear it is going to be just the Ducks and not "The Mighty Ducks". Which makes them sound less like a little league team (not saying the team isn't already).

Man... the last couple days have been brutal on teams.

Red Wings, Aves, Flyers... all have cut some big names. Should be very interesting this year.

Not only the big name shuffle, but the new rules.

At first I was a little pissed about them, but after I read them they seem like it might be exciting.
