well my e2 frame is just not the thing for me with all the problems and mantenace and stuff, while it is fast as ..... i think im goin back to mech with it until i sell it but heres the problem i lost my trigger spring for my 04 hinge frame and i was wondering if i just stuck a pen spring in ther will it still reset cause the old spring was really weird lookin and different from a pen spring??

I did that when I had to work on my cousins cocker, his spring was old and worn out so I cut a spring from a pen to fit in it. It took some work but I did get it working. I am not sure how it will hold up in the long run however.

It will work depending on how resistance there is from the mainspring and, more importantly, the LPR pressure.

Give it a shot. You've got nothing to loose but your time. I'd suggest buying a spring kit- Maddman and the like. It'll come with trigger and sear springs of various tensions.

ok i got the hinge frame and the spring looks bigger than a pen spring but if u can rember the size hardware stores got em ull just need to cut it
