Build an Automag??

How much would it cost to build up and automag from a black powerfeed body with rt valve and double trigger etc? Is there a web page that tells how to go about building it??

Well, from all the parts, and ordering them from AGD will cost you something around the lines as ive displayed below. This includes all parts needed to build a stock powerfeed 68 Automag, excluding all ASAs and hoses and whatnot, all prices are in USD.

As for assembling it, it would be easier to call a local pro shop, they should know how to assemble a 'mag, its realitivly simple, as for a webpage to show you how, I dont know of any off the top of my head, if nowhere locally knows how, email me at xzion@mail.com and ill run through how to assemble it. It might just be easier to buy a new mag, you can probably get one for less than buliding it from new parts, another option is, to look on ebay or the classifieds forum here, I wouldnt be surprised if you could get used parts and assemble a mag for a decent price.

Building a mag is easy. Very simple gun, not many parts.
For all new parts, figure
Mainbody $140
Retro Valve, bolt, and sear (all come together) $280
Body Rail $40
Grip frame $60-$120 depending on frame
Then whatever nitro tank (retro only takes nitro), barrel, and dropfoward you want. And a few SS hoses.

You may want to consider getting an rt pro, they run about the same price as all these parts.

Sear for the retro is $50. But it is included.

Or you can look for good used parts and build a Mag for half the cost. You've just gotta know where to look.

The sear for the ReTro isnt 50.00, its just a stock sear used with the ReTro Valve. Its the classic bearing RT sear that is $50.00.

I built one form spare parts and I will tell you it is a lot more expensive than it looks. Don't forget the air system, foregrip, air accesories, and etc.

Maybe the roller bearing RT sear is additionally hardend, but with the ReTro Valve, its just a stock 'mag sear. I even asked RobAGD at the last skyball if there were any differences and he told me the differences were "six of one and half a dozen of the other" in other words, the same. Either way, I personally and sticking to my belif :D :p

nah, hes only mean if you own an angel and you want him to work on it... from what I can tell, he really hates angels... he might be mean if you do something really dumb to your marker :D

I knew I shouldn't have stored it in that bucket of salt water and compained when it rusted :)

I don't think your gun would rust under salt water. It may get a surface rust that can easily be polished off. It will just look a little stained. Anodizing prevents rust and stainless steal doesn't rust:).

You store your body in salt water, it will rust or atleast corode or somethign else not nice. :)

hey, where can u get a normal valve for the automag, and what about the internal reg and what not, is there anyplace u can buy the complete internal set?

Valve and reg come together. Usually with a valve you will get everything you need exept possibly a bolt. Check the classifieds here for one, occasionally there is one on e-bay also.
