I was thinking about getting a Devil, but how does this happen to a mag with dual break beam eyes and level 10... who was there and who knows what went down :wow:

But other than this have Devils been behaving nicely?

::edit:: but that black with orange splash does look pretty good on a ULE body.

Bad paint?

Eyes are not a sure thing in any case. They can "fail", although that may be the wrong term for it.

It was an error on my part, using Hellfire in a mag. The only team that I KNOW was shooting Hellfire well was the AKA guys, who were nice enough to trade me a case - 200 rounds for a case of Blaze.

And yes it souped, and yes it created a mess, and no I did not quit pulling the trigger - there was a liquid line n my Halo up to the top of the feedcup. It was a mess. There was so much spray on the marker, my goggles, and my arm that I had to ask the ref if I was still considered clean.

This was not a failure of the eyes, it was simply too much force on the Hellfire to try to fire it, as was noted Shockers had the same issue.

Shot fine through my DM4, mags are just a little harder on paint.

yeah, it was the hellfire -- it was far too brittle.. i went most of the day shooting Blaze (which was too bouncy)... I switched to Inferno and it was smooth like buttah.. i wish I spent the extra 10 bucks and got that instead.

My E2 cocker had no problem at all with the Blaze, though its not exactly hard on paint. The biggest problem I had was paint clumping up in my HALO. OMG that stuff was bouncy though!

Ya just brittle *** paint Even us on the team with lvl10 had breaks

I didn't have a single chop or barrel break all day, but like I said - I avoided the hellfire. The inferno was breaking awesome, I wish I used that all day.

the blaze shot real well, but it wouldnt break for anything!!

I know i bounced a POG guy in the chest twice as he was running TOWARDS me into the snake. . . that was annoying

i think there ought to be some rules about the gear players wear... i find that bounce-inducing clothing is ever popular and there's little for rules against it.

There are rules that address padding Mad - and the Blaze I was bouncing off goggles and pods - the paint was stored poorly on event (bringing pallets out at a time and letting them sit in the sun for example) and Blaze is not fragile to begin with.

yeah, i took a bounce off my mask when running to the snake and a FEW off my knees... Kev even commented later on how he saw the bounces.

The dye jersies, were actually alot less padded than they were in o3, the only things that were really "thick: were the shoulders and the dye emblems. THe arms of course, but thats typical dye for ya. As stated, i was taking bounces off my mask and my head, about 3 of 4 in a row in one game. Not to mention the blaze looked like golfballs.
