Neat, how'd you color it? Spray paint?

I have a unimount coming in and going to buy a cp reg next week :headbang:
I used a spray paint that i bought at auto zone. Ask for vinyl paint. It comes in many colors and is only like 5 bucks.

I think the color is pretty ugly in my opinion. But it would look pretty sweet if it looked more like the hopper, and barrel.

i like it because he will stand out with that color, unlike having red or black that everyone has.

psssssss...

its the ugly ion. :-P

those colors just dont catch the eye any. They make you wanna look away more.

Personally, i woulda gone for a pink, or white or dark red.

Erm... I dont approve, the only spray paint I think should be used on Pball guns is automotive paint, and get some with little spacrlys in it... I did my tippmann this way in a dark blue, and it was shinnnnny (awesome) I think the Vinyl makes it look so even more plasticy.... But atleast you have the ambition to try to be different, which makes u cooler :D

Forget the colors, does it come in metal? I'm sorry I just cannot get psyched over these Ions :( But I agree with the others, the colors are whacked.

It's different. That you thought it through, and did it yourself, makes it a very good different:)

Yah I mean, he's trying to make his gun look different than the others. so its good just because he tried, something all the other ion owners should do

Personally, I dont like the color. But if you're happy with it then great. And even better than you did it yourself.

Ok , I have a very crappy camera and the color is yellow and the barrel and trigger is yellow but
with the poor quality of the pic it makes it look gold and the yellow on the frame look very dull yellow but is shiny yellow

The entire gun is metal excpet for the sleeve body. The grip frame is metal, the internal body that houses the internals is hard anodized aluminum, the reg is metal.

You havent heard yet?

SP already make a Yellow body kit, granted its $40 so if you spent less than that including your time then bravo

Other wise you should have aimed for a color that's not offered.

He didnt paint the body. He painted the grip frame. The yellow is not a new color body anyway.

Yes, I have heard. I know for the gun does not have metal-to-metal contact everywhere. Some places it is metal to plastic. :( Sorry, not intending to start a flame or discuss merits of the Ion thread.
