Ok, so I had the brite idea of airing up the valve while it was disconected from the body. On/off shot out... found it after freaking out and saying a few choice words. Anyway, it seems to be intact with all the parts so here is my Q. I put it back in its place but it's not going all the way it, like it hits the body (brass part with divit). Is it suppose to be flush with the valve? Should I force it or should it go in smoothly?

Thanks

Put the two top o-rings, let the smaller one be the most at the tip of the pin, leaving the larger one in contact with the on/off assembly. Oil it just a drop and put it in the valve, that should do it.

If it still behaves like a spring (you push it in, it comes out a bit) check if any of the o-ring has been damaged.

Hope this helps.
