New thread in dealers forum

does anyone know who made those original AO state pics

I'm thinking about making some AO stickers.
THey wouldn't be very big. between 2"x2" to like 5"x5" and anywhere in between.
Eventually i might even be able to make bumper stickers, but not right now.
Anyway this is just to see what kind of interest there is.
If there is enough interest then I will post a thread in the dealers forum to actually sell them.

Currently I am unable to post the designs because the are on word (and there not regular font). so if anyone would like to see them please leave your e-mail.
Also if anyone knows how to post them please tell me as it would be greatly appreciated.

In short the are
AO PRIDE
AO-TX
AO-OK
ETC.
Automags.org

and stuff like that in interesting designs turned into stickers

You could take a screen shot of the design.
Save it on Paint as a jpeg.
And host it.

Honestly, those are horrible designs, and wouldn't transfer to stickers well. They're either too cluttered (can't be read at a glance), or just plain ugly.

Other people have made AO stickers, take a cue from them. Clean designs, SHARP art, etc.

OK, everything is almost ready, just need to work out a few things with Echo and then we'll be in business. Keep a look out in the dealers section for the stickers.

These are great. If you go ahead with this idea, how likely would custom stickers be? i would kill for for one of the AO-US NAVY ones found at: http://www.jayloo.com/photo_gallery/gallery.html?pGROUP_ID=270

Thanks, LMK

Did you make those original designs in paint or what? Why represent AO like that? If you are gonna make stickers, take the time to make some nice ones.

I also am a Graphic Designer by profession, and I feel for small stickers like the ones I posted. HERE (http://www.browndotdesign.com/Stickers.jpg) Are very clean, nice contrast, and have a good representation of Automags.org

No, you're not.
Did you go to school for that?
Do you have degree? a slip of paper that says you are?
You're a kid that plays in paint.

wow...

one long thread. 0 cool sticker ideas.

Echo, you're a kid. you're not even old enough to have a profession. If you're a certified graphic designer, then so is the majority of America's youth, since we all can dabble in Photoshop a bit. Middle School and High School don't count as "going to school for Graphic Design".

The original stickers? My lord - amateur. Made from MSWord's fancy texts?

If you're going to do it, then do it right.

Don't like the designs at all. Consider the Automags.org banner above on this page. Take it, make it a sticker. Then I'd buy some.

Until then, I have my own stickers made locally for about 30 cents a piece.

OK, I will make the icon that you see in the top left corner of AO, the top right picture under echo's pics, the original state sig pics (if permitted), and custom ones for a bit more. I will have a thread up in the dealers section tomorrow

For some reason I made this one ages ago. I have no idea if it would be any good as a sticker (contrast and design and junk), but whatever.

These are of course being made and sold with the permission of the forum owner(s) right? And like I asked in the dealer’s forum, how are they being made and out of what? What materials and what kind of inks?
