so i got an emag (really nice) and the charger that comes with it is only a car charger. i was looking at it and you can take the cord out. i did that and looka t my laptop charger. they are exactly the same. i plug it in and the light on the charger turns green. i dont have a completeley empty battery or one that is full, but what i am wondering is if this would work, or would it give the battery too much power and ruin the life of it? and would i be able to use the car charger on the laptop?

just fyi the laptop is a dell and the emag is very old... i would not leave this plugged in and will not even plug it in until i know it will work with no harm...

thoughts annyone?

How many volts does the lap top charger put out? The charger for the emag says that it can take from 10 to 15 volts I believe.

12 Volt DC
1200-1500 MA
Polarity-- :spit_take I haven't a clue.
