Look at the top, and the rear of the Mag itself, around the valve.
Milled.

I think it looks awesome!

They had Non CNC bodies, as well as CNC....Look at xmagworld.com

That right there is a good body, sort of a mix between an SLF and a CNC xmag.

Hey, I've got a brand-new C&C X, and I'm just wondering, why is it that the engraved "X" on the valve, when installed in an X-Mag, doesn't look centered? Is it because most of the X-Valves produced nowadays are made to fit a regular Automag/Minimag rail? I've noticed alot of X-Mags looking that way these days, & I think it looks gay. I'm glad mine doesn't look that way, otherwise I'd call AGD for a new valve with a centered engraved "X". Can't AGD specify, when they sell these valves, which are for an X-Mag, & which ones aren't?

Nice xmag. Getting the standard body and having it custom milled was a great decision. Awesome!

My x-valve's "X" isn't centered either. And I have an am/mm rail. So it's just a different batch of valves. Some are centered and some aren't. I don't care, the thing shoots great that's all that matters.

Yea mine isnt centered. Guessin they were meant more for E and rts etc

It has nothing to do with what rail it's on. It's the different batches of valves. That uncentered x will be just as uncentered on another rail. The engraving was just different from batch to batch.

Well, if that's the case, then that really sucks. It also tells me that whomever engraved those valves from batch to batch, obviously didn't know what the hell he or she was doing. Hopefully AGD can get someone with better lazer etching experience, so all the valves etched don't turn out that way from now on.

And its obvious you have no idea what you're talking about.
Why dont you go dig up the old Xmag batch threads?

What happened was they found a new engraver and accidently had the location set slightly off (They were engraving something else or something)

They had a bunch of them engraved, and sold them at a discount price for a short while. After they realized people didn't care I guess they sold them with a run of X-mags...

Hell I don't know the whole story, I just remember Tom going "Oh crap!" and tried to make something work out for the best. I dunno it's 4am and I gotta leave for paintball in less than 3 hours. And... ofcourse... decided not to sleep... or something...

they went to batch xvalves instead of having each valve engraved for its purpose.. the first couple runs were centered to high and no one noticed until they put it in the xmags.. the problem was realized and then fixed.. the later xmags with just the x on the valve is centered!

Very pretty...

I know this is a stupid question.. but..
In the first 2 pics there is a piece of red wire that is in front of the trigger area. what does that do, and is that normally that way or is it something that is usally hidden?

sorry just trying to learn.

Cameo - that is a wire attatched to the yellow pin in all e-x mags. It allows electricity to connect to the gun once you pull it out, and once the pin is out of the gun, it's really easy to lose. In that case, you attatch it to your gun.
