I've searched and can't find the answer.

Ok, I have a VF micromag RT. It has a valve that says "Retro Valve" and th "R" and "T" are in large type. I took out the RT valve and put in an X-valve, it seems to work fine. Can I put the RT in my 68 classic with twistlock barrel? Can I put the X in the 68?

Better yet, I have these bodies:

Tac-One body
VF micromag body
Fixed-barrel micromag body
68 classic RF body

And these valves:

X
RT
automag 68
micromag
minimag reverse

What can I swap around?

The only two valves that are different that I know of are the Sydarm valve and the old style RT that has the air coming through the banjo bolt. Otherwise have fun mixing and matching.

As long as none of the bodies/valves are the RT Classic, you're fine. So, yes, you can swap that stuff around.

Thanks very much.

How do I identify the RT Classic body/valve, etc.?

Does it have a big hole in the bottom and no hole on the side for the air inlet?

(Classic RT received air through the bottom in the rail/banjo bolt. All other valves come out the side.)

Air inlet through the side, not the bottom. Thanks.

And no co2 in the x-valve either.

You need an RT sear in your classic's rail for the X or RT to work properly.

Thanks, That explains why the RT from the micro didn't work well in the 68 classic.

If the fixed-barrel micro had a micromag valve originally, do I need to swap the sear if I put the X valve in there? Sounds that way...
