I finally have my mag at the peak of its performance since I bought it but there is still one minor problem that I want to remedy.
When the pressure in my tank gets to about 500 my bolt moves forward a little bit and the gun vents down the barrel until I cut out the gas feed.
Any thoughts?

500 psi is not enough pressure to run the gun. Get your tank filled and it should do fine.

I know it won't cycle a 290fps shot at 500psi but the leak is annoying. This doesn't happen with my classic.

Do you have LX on this gun? Do you have it on your classic?

Most likely you do on this gun, but not on the classic and that's the difference.

LX requires more pressure to operate and it tends to not seal at lower pressures.

Just keep your tank filled.

I have LX on both guns. By the way I don't need to pull the trigger to initiate the leak starts on its own accord.

What's going on is that your mainspring isn't putting enough tention on the bolt to keep it back. Try streaching your mainspring or replacing it with a stiffer one. Good to hear you've got your gun at peak performance! -Good Luck

Thanks I'll give that a shot next time I get my tank filled.
