What's your PB head wear?

I get shot in the head a lot, and it sucks. When I use my visor I get a lot of bounces but I hate having it there. Just wearing a hat backwards doesn't offer any real protection. What other options do I have?

Made it myself from a Profiler visor and the spikes from a wristband, of course i used a hat too. :cool:

i usually wear a mini-beanie. like a winter hat but short enough that it barely fits over the ears. Gives me a little cushion and nice fashion statement all at the same time.

Only downside is I sweat like a mother. But I sweat crazy anyway. :headbang:

Usually a backwards hat. Or a beanie. The hat is nice because it isn't as hot and it keeps me from looking like a mushroom.

I almost forgot my original headgear!!!!

Take a nice worn and dirty t-shirt. Any style, color, or make, and rip off one of the sleeves. There you have a ghetto sock hat that isn't too long and isn't too short... perfect for keeping the paint out of the hair.

The best part? YOu have an exact backup in case your first one gets too dirty!

Thru the summer I dont wear anything on my head other then my PMI mask. I have never been shot on top of my head, so havnt seen a reason for me to wear anything.

I wear a cravat (sling for broken arm) from an Army med kit with a sweat band sewn into it. I like it because it's much larger than a normal bandana.

i look like crap with anything covering my hair. so thats why i do it, it makes me agg :p :cool: . jk. i used to wear a bunker king headband, but then someone DID bunker me and shot right under it, i had a welt for about 4 months, so i got a $5 skullcap which i wear now. it sometimes helps with bounces too.

Nothing.. just my hair in a pony.... I rather like it that way... If i wore at hat or such my boy child wouldn't be able to tell where his mumma was on the field, or which person to hug comming outta the saftey zone....my hair is long/thick enough tht the balls don't hurt..If one does happen to break then it is a great excuse to take another shower...showers are good..

My mask and an athletic headband to keep the sweat off my face. If its below 60* I will put on a beanie or just pull the hood of my sweatshirt up under my mask. That works really good.

I'd hate to resurrect an old thread, but I still haven't found anything yet. I see Dye has $15 headbands, but from the looks of it they don't offer any real protection. I noticed Countypaintball.com has some custom ones, but I don't really want camo and that's all they have in stock.

i wear a knitted beanie that my grama made, there is plenty of breathing thrue it, so it really isnt too hot, at least not for speedball. supeeeeeer good for protecting your dome, plus bounces.

i can ask her how much it would cost to make you one if you want.

Ditto on the ball cap. My favorite are the fitted ones. The adjustables don't absorb much sweat (I wear it backwards with my mask on). Also, it should preferably have an ASU Sun Devil on it! ;)

I wear a Skullsock. Its a thin cotton beanie used by motorcycle riders. for being so thin, it deffinately wicks away the sweat, and give a lilttle more protection for the head. Plenty of welts still but no more cuts from thinck shelled paint.

Nice thing is it is thin enough that I can wear it under a hat, beanie, or bandana for extra dome protection.
