Total cost was $32. I got the wood from a construction site for free (they were throwing out 8x4 boards) and the rest of the stuff I already had. The only things I actually purchased were the felt and the vinyl, which ran $32. It is another mini-table, as games never get larger than 8 people and why make it huge if you aren't going to use it? Like I said, this is the second table and I like it a lot more than the first :).

Pictures of the old one (gave it to the girlfriend, she is sitting next to me in the first pic, yes, she plays as much as I do):

NJ that's damn sweet!! Send it up to AO Canada with the NJ boyz, we will put it to good use, and if you were a really nice guy you would let a lowly canuck keep it ;)

The first table is a "race track" design. It has a "beer rail" (the wood rail) that runs the outside of the table for people to rest their chips and their drinks on. It also has lights on it surrounding the inside. The second is a standard rounded rectangle table.

ah i see it now *likes the lights*

so why do you like the new table better?

edit: not trying to be rude, just curious

Its just a matter of opinion really. I like it better because I think that its better constructed and because I like the design better (the inside that no one can see). Or maybe just I'm so bored with my old table since I play on it every night :p.

I have to say that I like the design of the first one more but they're both tables to be proud of.

is that second table padded around the edges? You just need the pocket cam and it's perfect ;)
