i'm a dumbass: got a 2" flame out of it. it's a little tricky to explain how this happened, but it sucks. can you gues how?
lucky me i pre-ordered a tag sportz board.

Being that is the solenoid ground there must have been a short in the noid or the wires..The board is repairable by the way.. cheap too!!

how?edit<about the fix>

yes the ground solenoid wire came loose; i soldered it back on. that was fine.

I went to put the battery pack on and noticed some of the solder was bulging close to the neighboring contact. So, with the battery pack like this:
<a href="http://www.jayloo.com/files/pics/29000/fire_battery_starter.jpg" title="Hosted Free at Jayloo.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.jayloo.com/files/pics/29000/fire_battery_starter_rs.jpg" border="0"></a>
i take my knife to cut away the extra solder.
the battery slips on. my knife touches the two contacts and **poof** fire, for a few seconds, until i pull the battery off. scared the sh*! out of me. you can see the solder ran away from the ground it was so hot.

woodsball survival tip#1: if you get lost during a woods ball game and need to make a fire, you can sacrifice you emag.
