Please refer to http://www.airgun.com/downloads/retroexploded1.pdf for this question:
Working rearwards: First you have the regulator valve pin, followed by the valve seat o-ring, and the valve seat holder. After that you have part #779 which is is a small o-ring, then the back half of the valve body.
The question is, where does this o-ring (#779) go? The diagram doesn't really show:
1. Into the back half of the regulator body where the tip of the regulator valve pin goes in.
- or -
2. Embedded in the rear side of the valve-seat holder (the side with the cross-wise grooves).
It fits perfectly in both positions. I think this may have been part of my troubles all along. When I first took the gun apart about about a month ago, this little o-ring was just sitting on the regulator valve pin about half-way down its length.
Thanks in advance all you 'mag gurus. I specifically postponed sending my gun back to AGD to see if this was my problem.
