If I buy an iPod it will be at least a 20 gig. Go big or go home, right? I just have too much stuff to put on 5 or 4 gigs, I tried to tell that to my friend when he got his. "You will fill up that mini fast, shell out the extra little bit and get more storage." He thought he'd be fine, but now he is having to buy a bigger one because he has too much stuff. Not to mention I think I would go with a Zen over and iPod, my friend has one of those and it is mighty nice.

And for the sake of the thread, damn if that thing isn't tiny.

Well consdering I only have 512 MB right now, and am 100% happy with it, this would be more than enough to still make me happy for storage.

It takes, what, a whole 5 minutes to put some songs on it?

Well, i'm one of the bigger stronger better types, and I have ALOT of music, so lots of storage for me.

So do I. My poiny stands, is it really that much trouble to load up on new music before anytime you go out?

Each to his own I guess.

Anytime I am listening to my Ipod I know I won't listen to all the songs on it before I see my computer again.

I use a 1gig shuffle. It works great for me at the gym. I figure I can always switch up my playlist.

Hmm, I don't think I'll picking one up. I have a 1g shuffle, and a 40g normal one.

It's not as tiny as the shuffle, and not as much space as the 40g, so it doesn't fill a niche I need.

Maybe if they had a tiny dock connector that made it work like shuffle ala usb drive style, I could justify it, as it is, my computer bag is getting crowded. :)
