PTXtreme Failure to Puncture CO2 Cartridge

Just bought a PTXtreme pistol and tried Daisy CO2 cartridges. When I screw the Knurled cap on the gas tube it doesn't force the CO2 diaphragm in far enough to pierce the cartridge. I don't know if its the gun or maybe Daisy cartridges are a bit short. Any opinions?

Try using an oring or two to add some length to the bottom of the cap.
