What excatly is the difference between the automag and the mini mag besides body style??

The number of stars, I beleive the Mini has three and the Classic has one. Other than cosmetics they are the same.

"The Minimag comes with a different power feed mainbody that is longer and vented in the front. It also comes with a vertical ASA, stainless steel hose w/ quick disconnect, integrated filter, 4 star AIR valve and rubber AGD grips."
taken from the automag FAQ under resources in the top menu. It has a few common questions answered there, go check it out.

the stars are for the warranty. you can send your gun in to AGD to be fixed for free and they take off a star.
