Hay guys was looking at my valve the other day and noticed when putting in the on off that it doesn't look like the on/off in the AGD manual instead it looks like the on/off top and bottom is one piece out of stainless? Then there is a spacer of some sort again made out of stainless. Is this and older or newer version on/off.

what type of valve do you have? The classic valve has the 2 piece, all others have a one piece that looks like this:

I have had one that looked just like this but in silver. I think is was aluminum, and it worked just as good as the brass ones (but I think it was too soft, that is why they use brass).

Sorry for got to put what kind of valve. It's a Classic level 7 with ANS phase II reg. Yeah it's silver I guess it could be aluminum. To me it looks like the ON/Off top and bottom is one piece and then there is the spacer which is solid except for the hole for the on/off pin.

Actually I know I have said this in the past but..... I do plan on sending my essentially my whole gun in pieces to you to milling and some other things expect it in the next 2 weeks at the latest I was hoping to send it to you sooner in time for the opening of my friends new local field but... well you know how that goes. I'll email you after I've sent it.

As Tuna says it improves nothing back in the day it was an improvement over the original on/off top, but the AGD redesign the piece and this was no longer needed ... to tell you the truth i dont even rember how it goes together anymore.
