Hi, I have a minimag level 7 currently, the old school twist lock barrel, and I'm also looking at a micromag with cocker threading. My first question is how much should an RT pro valve go for used. The tech part of the question is a couple of parts:

* Will it fit properly on a micromag
* Will it fit properly on the MINImag
* Is the X-Valve that much better where I should get that instead?

Thanks,

Phil

A used RT Pro valve can be had for maybe 125-175 depending where you look.

1) The valve will fit, but the micromag uses a non-standard on/off pin size. So you'll have to fiddle around with it. My advice- do NOT go with the micromag. ULE body is cheaper & will keep you within AGD specs.

2) Yes, so long as you have the correct on/off pin length. .750"

3) The xvalve is an aluminum RT Pro valve with level 10. YOu put a level 10 set on the RT pro valve and you have the EXACT same thing.
