What type of drop forwards is everybody using ? I'm looking to change my current setup (KAPP Drop Zone II with KAPP on/off) to possibly a Shocktech drop forward (and my same KAPP on/off). Just curious what everyone else uses.

im using a drop zone 2. i really like it. just watch out to make sure it'll fit with your foregrip. mine didn't on my old micromag so i had to put some washers to get it on there. its a great drop and really comfortable.

Also got a KAPP DZ. I dont think its a DZ 2 though, its kinda old, 3-4 years? Just curious or do you want to know what the general popular/good one is for yourself?
Cuz personally I dont like too many drop fowards anymore. Sure it makes the gun more compact but now a days i like to have something to but up against(easier for snap shooting)
Just wondering is all...

I like d/f's... I don't use a foregrip when I shoot because I just hold the bottom of the gripframe or the d/f. This makes me shoot in a more compact position but I know I'll have to change my ways if I were to buy a Z-grip...

I'm using Kapp's Teardrop. It doesn't foward too much ( like Lapco) and I really love its angle. Can fit both AM Apocalypse and standard 2 whole bottomline. A good price ( not expensive) too.

Is it a good idea to mount the dz II backwards so the tank is under the gun?

I have the 'compact' from WDP on my Air, and I have a short Eclipse drop forward on my Armageddon :)
I love the eclipse drop forwards. Very Stylish and unlike most others... see em at www.planeteclipse.com

I use a KAPP Drop Zone II on my Z-Grip, oh, and FooTemps, I hold my Z-Griped mag by the tank reg and such, and only started to do so because of the Z-Grip, so theoretically, you wouldnt need to change any of your ways. :)

i have a CP flame, but thinking about switching to the "new" CP D/F
I picked up a red CP Flame at Pan Am. I never liked fore-grips, I grab the front bottom of the tank, or the front of the DF now.

I clears my battery pack pretty well, so I would guess it would clear a forgrip.
