I recently bought a shocker 05 and I was wondering if there is any possible way I can soldier into the wiring to allow an intellifeed to my warp feed so every time I pull the trigger the warp feed will spin. I have been able to soldier into the solenoid wires in the past with my Impulse but I have seen the wiring is a lot different.

It's unfrotunately a bit more complicated then simply splicing wires. The board works very differently than the Imp ones. The wires don't just connect to the solenoid in and out like on the Imp, it's rather a constant voltage supply to the solenoid then there's a signal to a gate on the board that tells it to fire the solenoid. It doesn't work correctly to be wired in".

People on anouther site tell me that I need to solder the Board. However,I don't want to solder the board.... can't I just splice a wire? If I screwed up the harness, it would be alot cheeper to replace it then it would be to replace a board.

Anyone have any ideas? is YDNA correct?
