does anyone know if the bushmaster BKO accepts any kind of paintball? I heard from a friend that u had to use tournament grade paintballs with it and u can't just use paintballs from the store say, ZAP Rec Series paintballs or something along the lines of that. Something like store bought paintballs can't fit in the chamber or barrel is what i was told. Is this true? I am thinking about buying a BKO because they are so cheap and sweet and i need a new gun. I know u can buy tourney paintballs online but that is a pain and they are expensive, so buying them online is out of the question. And the only paintball shop in town sells tounrney paintballs at insane prices so that is out of the question also. So, again, can i use store bought paintballs (zap rec series) on a BKO, and will they be effective. and will they shoot?
any advice on this and advice on paintball sizes and things like that would be great. :)
ty for all your help :headbang:

Whoever told you this must work for *Insert Expensive Paint Manufactorer Name Here* lol. Of course you can use store bought paint in a BKO. As long as it's 68cal paint, it's fine. And by 68cal I mean anything from .679-.697, not 6mm, 40cal, 43cal, 50cal, 60cal, or 62cal. THere are specialty guns out there that shoot those sizes. However, a BKO is a mainstream paintball marker.

your friend is retarded. of course you can use any paint. its all .68 caliber, and so is your barrel. some paint works better than other paint, so you do get what you pay for for the most part. if its like 70 a case than they are just stealing your money.

lol my local field charges $75 for rec and $80 for marballizers and other tourney paint.

Bkos are sweet guns, but you MUST use N2. Im sorry but co2 just doesnt work, and its kind of dangerous. Oh and PDS make it that much more sweeter.

Technically, anti-siphone co2 will work fine. But yeah, I wouldn't use anything other than hpa.

The Bushmaster and the BKO are two different guns. I reccommend the Bushmaster over the BKO. I reccomend it because if you get the BKO then you have to send it back to ICD or Vaporworks and it costs you an extra 100. You can get a Bushmaster PDS for 200 saving you a few dollars. With that extra money you could buy a HPA tank if you don't have one or a NOX board and have a rockin gun.
