My wife just shared THIS LINK (http://members.cox.net/transam57/lights.wmv) with me and I figured some of you would enjoy it...

It's almost 5 meg so for some of you with slower connections it might take awhile.

Awesome video... however I believe that house is a hoax tho. It's from a few years ago and aparently it's a editted video compiled from stills shot one at a time.

However....it is most definately possible.

Is it possible? Yes.

Did this cat actually do it? Prolly half n half, this guy apparently knows much about Lightning, maybe works in the industry.. He might know what he's doing, same concept as light shows... you can make programs to power what connections going through a circuit board.. Kind of like a LED Road Sign would.

What is the song in the background?

well, it is defently possible. even without that convertor box,

they do this in Live Sound all the time. Midi is triggering the lights to go off at specific velocitys or notes of particular songs, it would be more expensive to do it that way but thats for a live sound application.

defently cool as hell

if you had a programable logic control (plc) which turns on and off electrical applications, you can set it on a timer and program each step one by one. take about a week but its very possible, or dont they make devices for djs that turn on and off lights acording to music?
