I went to a local field to play, and as I was waiting I seen a valve that had about 8 holes drilled instead of the one on my mag and was wondering what the name of this part is and if it would do any good to help recharge. I know the best upgrades for the mag are made by AGD themselves, but I'm curious if it has any advantage to the regular classic valve? Also If anybody wants one they have 5 or 6.

It was actually done to help with faulty valve body alignment in an attempt to improve the recharge rate of classic valves.

Level 6 valves the hole in the front half of the valve did not line up with the hole in the back half of the valve . Some people claimed that this was the cause of shootdown on early classic mags and some people came out with this "upgrade" . This was correct in the Level 7 upgrade and is really nothing more than a cosmetic change now.

Diamond Labs 8-hole mod. As has been said before, it does nothing for level 7 and newer mags.

Even some of the early level 7 valves had holes that were out of alignment. It was corrected in later versions, so that mod is not needed on most valves. Even if it is needed, you can do it yourself by drilling one properly placed hole in the back half, and save the purchase price of an aftermarket part.
