for a while ive seen things about the response trigger for the mags..... i dont even know if its called a response trigger, but from what ive heard it was a trigger that fired once when you pull and once when you realease.... does anyone here have/used one before? i have never seen one and any information on it would be helpful

I believe he is referring to the Autoresponse frame, produced by Proline, which did, in fact, actuate the sear on both the pull and release of the trigger (therefore marker shoots twice).

That is something that they had back around '90. It was auto response, one shot when u pulled the trigger and one when u released it. It was something that mounted in the trigger frame, I think. I also think that it was banned.
It was awesome, I remember getting my *** shot off by those things. I allways wanted one but never got one.

I doubt that u could find one, but maybe u could make one if you can find someone that remembers how they worked and looked.

well then any ideas on how to make one?.... from the sound of it it sounds complicated..... but 2 shots a pull would be so great to shoot my friends........

Alegedly, w/ the right trigger stops (anyon eknow what happened to Ravi's web site), you could have a silly short trigger pull. Yes, electros have short trigger pulls, but this was a mech. I know the whole pull-shoot-release-shoot would have been illegal in the old days. Now, who knows...

They were banned in '92, I believe. Here's a pic of one on my mag:

It's a top view because the pic was taken to post the body for sale, not to showcase the frame.

With the right trigger stops, the pull is increadibly short, but stiffer than that of a normal 'Mag. I have seen some double trigger modded versions...the single trigger version is easily capable of 14 bps once you get used to it. You can fire either one shot by pulling the trigger just until the gun fires and releasing it, or two by pulling it all the way back and releasing it.

They're great frames and really turn heads when you start cranking out bps in the electro range with a single-triggered mech gun :) I paid $110 for mine, but I've seen them go for as low as 80 recently. They wouldn't be too hard to produce if you had the right equipment, but you'd save yourself a lot of time and money by buying one used.

I have an Auto-Response frame. They are intereating and back in the day when they were made they had a HUGE advantage over anything else on the field. Even today when someone who knows how to use it lays on the trigger it let's out a wall of paint. Someplace I have a video of Jon (formerly from AGD) using one at the AONJ last year. The only problem with them is the trigger pull is REALLY REALLY long and REALLY REALLY hard.
