will a minimag , with a good barrel , shoot as far accuratly as most high end guns or at least better than tippmann or spyders. ive just heard people saying they didnt shoot very far in comparason to other gun but I'm sure that is with the barrel that they came with (which wasnt good)

If you have a good paint to bore match thats your best bet at it shooting good(most accurate). No gun shots farther then any other gun the only reason the tippmann with go somewhat farther is with the flatline but when the ball hits you from far your most likely to get a bounce or 2
besides that the only way to make it go farther is to turn up the velocity

Ok since you sound new Ill be nice and explain it. If every gun is setup to the same consistancy and have identical paint to barrel match along with the same paint/weather/gun positioning each shot will be the same. If the spyder you used is shooting straight co2 with a bad barrel/paint match, with a gooed up barrel full of broken paint, shooting year old walmart paint it isnt going to shoot good. If a mag was put under the same cirumstances it wouldnt shoot good either. If a $1000 gun also wouldnt shoot good. Now if you have everything cleaned, a good barrel, a good paint/barrel match, with good quality paint and a consistant hoa system all of the guns should shoot good. The thing is most people with cheaper guns are newer and dont take as good of care of their stuff as those with hundreds to thousands of dollars in it. Also those people who use cheaper stuff tend to know less on how to tune their gun as they are still fairly new. Because of this you see guns with the velocity so high every shot curves, you see a reg put on a spyder cranked to 200 psi that doesnt recock consistantly. You see a lot of user mistakes caused by user error that you dont with people who know and understand their gun. The differences you may see between guns is difference is achievable rat of fire, kick, efficiency, feel, balance, and a few more. Pick the gun you like that fits in your price range. Then learn everything you can about it and tune it to perform like you want.
