sounds like bs but I'm kinda curious.
I'd give him more credit if he didn't say that the x valve has shootdown.

i agree with the xvalve comment, and im not sure about that. at high rates of fire where you would experience shoot down on a classic vavle with compressed air (warmer then co2) is usually (from what i read and saw) around 12-15 balls per second? theres no way that can heat up co2 for use in your gun that quick without freezing the macro line he has, yet alone the o rings in the vavle. thats just my opintion, id try it out if i couldnt get HPA

That's the modern day equivalent of the SP "Black Box" mod.

It adds volume, which will help stave off shootdown, but the same thing can be done with an expansion chamber (and I'd dare say done better).

the spelled "copyright" wrong. geez.

it's probably just a piece of brass pipe with air adapters......that gives it room to expand. Right? I love when strange things are sold ond ebay. I think that I will sell a piece of toast that appears to have a DM5 burnt onto it......ITS CRAZY!!!!! (sadly...i was hungry this morning) :(

Thought the black box was installed after the AIR reg as part of the dump chamber. This thing installs before the AIR reg.

I'm 99% sure this person's never even shot an x valve. It also looks like this thing doesn't really do much either.

You are right, the black box was mounted directly in the dump chamber. This is more like a lpr chamber for a spyder....

I think he might know Doc so maybe he did come up with something. I thought I had read something about inline vapor defusers for small air powered tools. Maybe he modified one.

That looks like the equivalent of using 1" more stainless hosing....

Wasn't this thread around a year ago about the same thing?

A big ol loop of Stainless hose between the ASA and the valve was an old anti-liquid CO2 trcik long ago.

Literally a few loops of host tie wrapped together, about 4-6" diameter.

Baby Jesus frowns on people who use CO2 on an x-valve. :(

The guy lives in Alaska and cant get nitro.
Thats where Docs at so........

An Xvalve with the level 10 not tuned properly will get shootdown.
The ULT not shimmed correctly can cause that too.
I have experienced that myself.
And yes I can fire that fast with my Logic vert framed baby.
I'm old and can barely run but I can fire it fast.LOL
