Anyone know of a program that can convert M4A to MP3? I have Itunes 6.0 and didn't realize that it had converted all my MP3s to M4A. I just recently bought the Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS system and it plays MP3s, but not M4A. So I'm screwed. I have this huge collection but can't play it on my NUVI.

There is an import option in itunes. You need it change it to import using mp3 encoder.

oppsite mouse click on your songs. Then select "convert to mp3" Otherwise, change yoiur options to import cd's to mp3's.

I think its a QC issue, besides you can have itunes full of dam near any format and it will convert tracks as they are being loaded into your ipod.
