What do you guys know about these? I'm thinking about getting an 8" and wanted to know if anyone owned and like one.

I used the 12"
one for a long time but it was sold another manufacturer before Smart Parts bought them out. Its very accurate but i'm not sure about the 8" version, might be good for small speedball course.

i used the 8 on a cocker. i absolutly loved it. in my opinion the accuracy out of any paintgun sucks. so if the noise doesnt bother you, go for it. otherwise i would be willing to trade you it for my Dye 10".

I've seen them also at paintballgear.com and skanline.com I think skanline is cheaper but check both to be sure.

So you're the one bidding. It went from like $10.00 to like $30.00 in hours. Sheesh. Fortunatly I know the seller so I'm hoping he'll hook me up.

i love it. it is a little loud but not too bad. With a good paint match it is very accurate. It looks sweet i think and it will look even better once i get the stuff i want for it and get rid of the xpansion chamber and other stuff

(im gettin retro valve, iframe, super bolt, a freak, dz2, foregrip, new sight rail, polish the body)i know its ugly but that will change soon:)

I have the 8" for my minimag. I love it! It's a little loud because it's so short but I don't try to be sneaky anyway. It's very accurate and light. It also works great with marbs.

Hey [NA] where do you play in Woldorf, Maryland?

we have a field in White Plains (played there today), 1 in Clinton (behind hospital), 1 in Bryantown and 1 in Aquasco. I belong to a team that was est. in late 80's early 90's, in which we have a lot of properties to play on.

If you like the look of these things I'd try to find one in at least 12" length. The 8" has porting down at least the last 2" of barrel meaning that your effective barrel length is only about 6". This should make the barrel pretty inefficient and will make you turn up the velocity on your marker a bit more to get the same FPS you would get in a barrel that has an 8" or 10" effective length.

These are still on some online retail places web sites but if you actually order one you will be informed that they are out of stock. I think Smart Parts stopped making them because it was costing too much to produce them due to the flare at the end of the barrel.
