Whats the diff. between DF and Cradle?

Whats the difference between a drop-forward and a cradle? Don't they both just move the tank?

Oh yeah, also what does a Slide-Check do?

they can be the same thing but not. drop forwards and cradles do the same thing. but for tanks that dont scrwe-in use something to hold them (cradle). but some people just use either word.
