Anyone know if it is possible to get a marker anno's with a dust finish and then polish it later? Without ruining the anno job?

In this case, when getting an ano, you can have one or the other: dust or gloss. When the metal is clean, the dust is going to look flatter, obviously, than a shinier gloss. If you want your marker to shine, get an ano with a gloss finish.

cant polish out the dust without ruining the anno, because the dust finish is the metal that is colorized in the process.

So is a 'dust finish' something that is applied to the metal, or is it simply the metal before polishing occurs?

Dust finishes are acheived by either blasting the parts with glass beads or some other inert material or they can also be had by a chemical polishing process...

10-4, so the anno process happens and that colors the piece. Then it goes through either a polish or a dust process. Got it. I have some special anno plans for the next gun. :D :D

no. Its dusted or polished before final anno...

you're going to flip when you find out what I am (possibly) planning

(Are my pieces still going to where you told me?)
