Saw this on ebay while scrounging for things of interest:

I'm not bidding on it but thought someone may be interested. It looks like it is in great condition though.

I've got no interest in that particular gun, but I noticed the Outlaw II above it and my heart raced--that was my first paintgun! Damn, I wish I still had it... :(

That looks like a knock-off of the Monteel Designs Z-1 paintball gun. It was pretty popular back in the day. It used to run on straight liquid co2. I remember guys playing in tournys used to keep their 20oz co2 tanks on ice to use with them.

Here is a pic of Doc's off of his site.

i think liquid co2 is more consistant that gas.

It was, but I think that any of those old guns that needed liquid ran at ridiculously high pressures or something....

My old 68 special used to give me fits unless it got pure liquid co2, and that usually happened best when the temp outside was 40* and below.

Before I sold them, i experimented with hpa on one of them with no success. But the Z-1s did have a special valve you could buy to run it off of co2 gas and later on one for hpa.

Those old Z's were great guns. Too bad the company sucked so bad. If I remember, there were a few different partners that ended splitting up, each claiming the rights to the design.
