Are there any differences in the 2?

I think the main difference, as I understand it, is that the Xvalve is made of aluminum, while the RT pro is made of steel. No functional differences that I'm aware of. My fellow AO'ers will correct me if I'm wrong ;)

Correct.

Functionally, the same valve. Xvalve is mostly Aluminum. RT Pro Valve is stainless and aluminum.

The small difference is that if it's an early RT Pro valve, it will not accept the ULT. (You can tell by taking the on/off out and looking inside. If there are 2 orings [keep in mind that one may come out on the on/off pin], then it can take the ULT. Otherwise it will not.)
