My buddy has one. I don't think he visits this site, which is weird considering he has an Emag and a classic and got me into mags. He keeps saying he's gonna rebuild his classic and put the Z-grip on it, but I think he would be better served selling it to me. :D At least that way it would get some use.

I have a "discounted" one. It has some factory scuffs on it and it was not counted in the 400 number. The funny part is, I still have yet to own a mag.

I have one that came "from the attic" that I picked up in the classifieds here last year. Haven't finished the marker though -- it has been laying unannoed in a box for about a year. Still need to find a rail bushing that doesn't cost $5 for shipping.

Mine was from the attic sale as well, I got it off of a guy on PBN. I dont have a gun completed for it yet (I still need a rail), but here it is with a rail off of another mag. I am planing on adding a endo cradle and one of lukes 15* foregrip extenders as well as a warp feed. I also might turn it into a pneumag. http://www.buddy-icons.info/img/smile/970.gif

Oh and here is the picture of mine. :D

Here is a pic of my old one before I parted her out. :( Pacifist Farmer now owns the Z frame. This pic is before I had the trigger modded to a blade by Luke. Dangit, wish I still had it.

Liked it very much for the Zframe, it felt perfect. The frame was very comfy especially with that 15* extender made by Luke and the offset rail Luke sells, the gun really was a tight package.

Pacifist, I am just happy the Z is being well taken care of. Trigger sure looks good on it too. ;)

You don't get much of a choice when your local store doesn't have any low rise spyder compatible feednecks in stock, and you have a vert feed gun and no way to attach your hopper.

The smokestack is a very appropriate name for that feedneck though.

It'll be online in picture form. It will also be on my wall in display cases. I just need a few more things to complete the AGD collection.

Xmag, Prototype 4500 flatline, Y grip, X valve, Rental Valve, stock Mini-Mag, and a PMI Mask.

Once I get those things, I think I will own at least one of everything AGD has ever made.

I have a ZGrip, and I am waiting for some parts to get to be so I can put it all together. Once I get it put together, I will take pics and post them. I just realized one thing, though. I was confused about the different grips that were made. I was told that there were two different Zgrips...one for Automag rails, and one for RT rails. My buddy just bought an RT Pro, and my grip didn't really fit. When I tried to put the rail on the grip, there was a space between the front part of the grip and the rail. So, what were the type of grips made? Were there different grips made for RT's and RTPros?

I am not an RT expert but, I believe there was an RT version to accomdated the bango bolt.

I found 3 this weekend!

First one belongs to a local guy that has this chromed out mag running hawaiian style. He owns two, one of which he doesn't bring out to the field.

As far as I know, there were two Z-Grips made originally, one for the "classic" RT, and one for the classic AM/MM. Keep in mind that the modern RT-Pros are different from the original RT that was in production at the time the Z was originally produced. Either of the two styles of Z-Grip will have the laser engraved Z-Grip name and the lion logo.

There was a second run of Z-Grips sold "from the attic." The second run has no laser engraving and has a brass spacer in the rear of the grip that can be pressed out to compensate the banjo bolt that was unique to the classic RT.

Somebody else may be able to comment if there were any more than these three types. I don't know what the distribution is in terms of how many of the 400 were made for which marker, nor have I ever read an official number for those that were sold from the attic.

when i was first introduced to mags i went huntin for one on ebay.i saw one for sale that had the z grip. i thought it looked pretty weird and i didnt think it looked very comfortable for shooting but i realize it would be for a frontman. anywas i saw it back when i just installed my wi-fi connection because i added another computer in my house. my bro wouldnt let me go on his comp and the internet wouldnt work for mine. when i finally got back on i discovered that the gun with the z grip didnt eevn sell. the startin pries was THIRTY DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!! NO BID AND NO RESERVE. I WAS PISSED FOR LIKE AMONTH BECAUSE IT ALSO CAME WITHA A NITRO TANK AND THE GUN WAS IN GOOD SHAPE. what a loss.(the item was relisted and sold for 170  )

I have one of 'em too. Though the upper part of the trigger guard was cut off by the guy i got it from so it would fit with the foregrip extender he had. so i bought one too so it didn't look so bad. Love it tho, never getting rid of it. Too bad i haven't found anywhere that's actually got cool people around KC to play much. I haven't seen a field much the last 3 years.
