They take cocker threaded barrels. They are a body replacement for any mags although they are sold by some companies as complete guns. So pretty much you'll need every part of a mag other than a mainbody.

You might be able to find one used for that. I'm not sure. I've seen one go from a local store here for $350. Just keep your eyes open.

I REALLY like it. Like Load said, it's the best replacement body out there. I'd even use it Without the backspin, just cuz it looks cool.

Oh yeah, that's kinda an old pic. It's got a Kapp foregrip and a Dye 2x on there now. Very sweet. I'll try and post pics sometime if/when I get the chace if you'd like.

Sure, as many pics and as much info as possible...If i bought a body..what is a list of things i would need to get for it to be a complete gun??

Heh, that's actually EXACTLY what I did with this Z-body.

Here's what you'll need:

Z-Body
Valve Assembly
(Bolt, Valve [including regulator, etc], Bolt-Spring)
Sear Assembly
(Sear, Trigger pin)
Sear Pin
Body Rail
Z-lock pin
Barrel
(For Z-Body, must be .696 or larger, mine is .700)
Trigger Frame

Then whatever you want on top of that is your preferance, a foregrip, dropforward, vertical adapter, whatever.\

Oh yeah, Make sure that it's a 'Cocker barrel.

.694 is kinda small, but Otherwise, it's a Killer deal. If you're lookin' for a Z-Body mag, Go for this one.

I thought .694(boomstick) would be too small too, but imho shoots better than the .697 lapco. I usually use diablo blaze. What I have found is that if the balls can easily roll through the barrel it is big enough for the backspin to work.

the best thing about the z-body isnt really backspin, its the autococker threading. seems like most guns are going that way, and every barrel known to man is made for a cocker, so its just more fun. the backspin is neat, but i use mine just for the looks. bad little gun it is...

U kidding me? Yeah, the Z-body looks cool, and the 'cocker threadings are cool, but the Backspin rocks.

I've had So many eliminations that I wouldn't have had othewise.

How is the weight of the Z-body compared to a standard power feed mag body? Do you have to replace the little bumper that imparts the backspin on the ball from time to time or should it be good for life? I've heard that the backspin can give you a flatter trajectory but that this comes at the cost of accuracy since the paintball is rolling through a looser barrel. What has been your experience with this? Do you notice any more ball breaks from the balls hitting the little backspin bumper?

Just curious.

Yes, the Rubber Nubbin is a wearing part, but It shouldn't have to be replaced that often. Kinda like the superbolt sleeve.

Besides, the only thing that's rubbing against it is a paintball, and how abrasive can they be? :)

No, there's no more ball-breaks due to the nubbin, however, I kinda feel like the accuracy has gone down A LITTLE.

It's not a huge loss because the loss of accuracy isn't that great. A loose, but well fit paintball will be very accurate.

I'm starting to think that my .700 was a bit too big. I probably should have gone with a .698 or .697.
