Hi hunters,
I don't hunt, but I know lots of AO'ers do. I am looking to find a "hunting coverall" that is stuffed with 400 grams of thinsulate. Does anyone know where I could find one. I have found 100, and 200 gram thinsulate coveralls... but nothing in 400 gram...anyone?

Do you have a Gander Mountain store in your area? If so, that would be a good place to start.

I don't know if I've ever seen 400grm coveralls. That seems more along the line of what a boot would be.

If it's for warmth..you don't want 400grm coveralls. You should be layering. I think that's why they don't usually make body wear to that spec.

well what is this gonna be for? When im out hunting i just have like a 100g jacket and pants, and the some long underwear type stuff on. Depending on what you are gonna use it for, id layer. cause when you sweat, you will get really cold when you stop moving.

Try Bass Pro if there is one near you, or their website

Thinsulate has this cool thermal property: when it gets wet, it maintains at least 80% of its thermal properties. I can't layer it because it needs to be tight on my body. Its for a drysuit undergarment, and while a company called DUI makes them, I am trying to find a cheaper way around it.
