i was pondering the agd sixpack changers earlyer. with the overwhelming yet short lived success of the 6pack, why dosnt AGD do atleast a limited run of new 6packs? stock class is making a small comeback theese days and i know if the 6pack was offered to a 'control group' (say... mcarterbrown forums....) they would all be snatched up as fast as the first run :ninja: i know id snag atleast 2 of them....

and i think i just came up with the sweetest idea ever.... it involves a modified 6pack, a warp feed, and about 30 12grams :argh:

30 12grams.. for that you should just carry like a 4oz C02 tank. lol

I liked the look of the 'revolver' 12gram changer better than the six-pack...not sure if I'd like the magazine thing hanging down.

ACI Turret Changer. Neat stuff, I wish I'd have picked one up in the early 90's when they were widely available.

EDIT - oops, didn't see the link there.

In 1988 Air Gun Designs was formed, and Tom helped to develop his first blow-back semi-automatic paintgun, the Panther. This is the one of the historical paintguns shown in the introduction segment of the 68 Automag video. The Panther was then sold to Direct Connect. While plans were laid for Daisy to manufacture the Panther, they were never finalized, so the Panther never became wide spread. That same year, AGD brought the Micro-CA to market. The Micro-CA was a quick change 12 gram CO2 system built into a paintgun stock that allowed for very fast CO2 changes, and even stored enough gas for one or two shots before the next cartridge was put in.

Um, isn't the reason why they were so groundbreaking that they _were_ allowed in stock class? Constant air was around at that point, but wasn't allowed. Once AGD made the six-pack, though, there was almost no difference, so they let CA in.

How much do some of these things run for, where could I find one? The 6-pak, ACI Turret Changer, or any of the other ones. Are there others that aren't listed or any newer versions of popular quick changers for 12gram?

I'm really interested in them all.

if you want, my email is sean.granier@gmail.com. If anyone has any of these lying around as well, shoot me a message.
