Hey,

I've just recently come into possession of an AGD Tac-One and have joined these forums, however leaving the A-5 community, and as most of you may be aware of, the Tippmann A-5 had a set spot on the gun where butt-stocks could be mounted and such easily and universally, but now that I have my Tac-One I see how many of you have resorted to mounting stocks to your ASA adapters and such, I'd like to still have a stock on my marker, however not mounted on the bottom ASA rail, and definently not like SpecialOps' shrouds which will cover half my marker (and I completely believe the reviews coming from these forums about the stock being in a terrible position to sight-in with).

So what I am asking for here is any pictures of any mods or markers you have with butt-stocks or something used as a stock on them whether it be mounted to the ASA rail or elsewhere, but preferably on a Tac-One or E-Tac, however still feel free even to post if it's not. I'd like to see what the AO Community has done to add this little tactiful advantage to their markers.

*Also, while browsing on the SpecialOps Forums, I'd noticed this (http://forum.specialopspaintball.com/index.php?showtopic=40384) post, and this (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=189708&page=1&pp=30) post over here with all these ideas for stock mods, has anyone actually gone through with these, are going through with these, are going to go through with these, or will go through with some of these for others? Any info would be great!

Thanks,
-Commander-

there is one from rap4 or something like that, but I have since forgotten where I saw it and who makes it. what I do remember it is $100 and a "M4" style stock that mounts to the Rail, body rail not asa rail.

If you have any more info on it, I'd appriciate it, it sounds like something I'm currently looking for.

As an owner of a Q-bow I'm gonna have to say that a lot of those guys who are complaing about the position I don;t think have actually felt the gun, it's actually quite comfortable, unless your going to use a cheap red dot like Adco's IMP. I personally use a Hakko or Northstar I can;t remember which lol. But I have plenty of clearance and I find it quite comfortable

That's good to know, and I love the look and form of the Longbow Stock, but like I said before I don't want to loose the side weaver rails on my Tac-One by adding the shroud that allows the stock to mount to the marker.

I remember on my old marker (A-5) forums there was a guy (Flatline's Up) that was our main go-to mod-guy that could pretty much make maricles out of metal, he eventually even started his own company; is there anyone like that here on these forums that could possibly make an adapter like these (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y241/ultraforge/adapters.jpg) for mounting a stock without loosing those rails for a Tac-One?

*If you are that craftsman/mods-man or know the one I am looking for please step forward or say so, I'd like to know if you'd be interested in constructing one of these (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y241/ultraforge/adapters.jpg) parts for me, you'd be paid generously upon completion and satisfaction...

Thanks,

If my computer wasn't going so slow here at work I would. I will try though.

and your other question:

try doc at www.docsmachineshop.com - or if thats not it, you can link to it from his comic stip which I know is www.the-whiteboard.com

maybe try www.whitewolfairsmithing.com or something like that can't remember the exact site name.

possably www.logicpaintball.com

a long shot would be rouge at www.themagsmith.com don't know if he does that kind of work.

finally got it to load and Rap4 discontinued their line. then I looked here and found this thread - the first two links work -
