is the car called a cougar? or is there supposed to be a cougar painted on the side? i see a wolf. and i thought the AGD thing was a lion.

It was blue to black, and it was a lion...the car is a mercury cougar....just clearing things up...turned out good I think, but im biased....

I have a cougar. Faster than Jon's...lol. Why he chose an automatic transmission I dont know.

Anyhow... they're pretty solid. The 99' models had some issues w/ a fuel pump and O2 sensors, but the pump was recall'd and a free replacement.

Fast cars for what they are and the cost... but chances are you'll have a few "repairs" you're going to do just cause they had a few known component issues.

All in all though for my under 10k tag when I bought it in late 2002 I cant complain. I've had it to like 135ish.

cougar is just a 3rd generation probe.

probe and cougar were both discontinued in 97, cougar was re-released in like 99 i belived.
