K-C Trouble Free Oil

As guns get more sophisticated, preventative maintenance becomes extremely critical. KC Trouble Free Oil is simply the best in the industry... it’s name speaks for itself. There are two different synthetic formulas, so make sure you purchase the appropriate one for your gun.

Blue Synthetic Formula for Mechanical guns
Clear Synthetic Formula for Electronic and "Spool Valve" Type guns

http://www.pbloverz.com/images/uploads/kc_blue.jpg http://www.pbloverz.com/images/uploads/kc_clear.jpg

Clear formula retails for $9.95... I'm offering it for $7.50 per 1oz bottle
Blue formula retails for $7.95... I'm offering it for $6.25 per 1oz bottle

That's approx 25% off per 1oz bottle! You can purchase them and find more info HERE (http://www.pbloverz.com/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=31)

If you are part of a team, I also have the 8oz bottles for sale:
Clear formula retails for $36.00... I'm offering it for $27.75 per 8oz
Blue formula retails for $32.95.... I'm offering it for $25.50 per 8oz

That's approx 25% off per 8oz bottle! Please PM me for orders of the 8oz bottles.

I will offer better discounts for higher quantities of 4 or more bottles of either size, so PM me for further details.

PayPal is preferred... Money Orders are welcomed. Thanks for looking...

Could you be a bit more specific about the differences between the two formulas? I use the blue on my E-Mag. Would I be better served with the other formula? I also have a Freestyle for which they say you should never use oil on (something about screwing up the solenoid). Thoughts?

LuisV

Sure... the blue formula was originally made for mechanical markers so you could simply add a drop or two to the air inlet, gas up and fire away to coat the internals. Once gassed up, an extremely minimum amount, if any, oil should blow out the barrel.

The clear can be used in the same fashion on mechanical markers or used to coat internal orings and parts manually. For instance, you could dip your finger or a cotton swab into the clear formula and lubricate the internals of an electro gun manually so as to be careful not to get any on the electronics. The clear will then bond to the coated parts and not blow out the barrel as most oils do. It is recommended to clean the internals with rubbing alcohol prior to using the clear oil so the new oil has a clean surface to bond to.

Hope that helps... If you have any other questions please let me know...

So the clear is safe for solenoid guns then?

LuisV
02-20-2006, 11:21 AM
Yes... it's safe. Don't over lubicate the o-rings and you'll be fine. As I said, use your finger, a swab or the tip of the bottle to spread the oil. A little goes a long way....

I've used this oil for two years in 2 e-mags and 1 RT ULE all with level X. This oil is very slick and biodegradeable. It doesn't deteriorate the soft internals like petroleum based oils.

TIP: If you're using this for the first time, wipe off as many internal parts as you can so the oil can take effect quicker. If not, you'll just have to shoot all the old oil out by continually adding this lube in the asa to replace the existing oil. You'll see the difference of the black by-product that the "other" oil leaves; this oil leaves no residue.

The blue oil (created for C02), from what I've heard, has a broader temperature range than the clear and works similar. I have only used the blue in both electro and mechanical. You'll see the difference of using this oil (once all the petroleum based oil is removed) your guns internals will last much longer. I might add, (can't give you scientific info) it reduces friction to the point where you will more-than-likely have to readjust your level X and possibly power tube spacers if you get leaks down the barrel. You may even have to replace o-rings that were once not (seemingly) worn. (less resistance = better efficiency)

I've never bought from this seller but thought some insight from an experienced user would be helpful. It is a great product none-the-less; worth the effort.

Sorry... not familiar with a Freesytle. If it's an electro I would go with the HMP... if it's a mechanical like a Mag or Cocker then go with the blue. Hope that helps...

I know that your out of it, but is the clear more like a grease, that can be used on pneumatic markers such as Tmmies? Thanks.

LuisV
06-10-2006, 10:43 PM
Both types are an oil type and not a grease type lube. I use the clear on my daughters Ion and so far no issues, so yes... it should be fine on your Timmy as long as you don't over do it and it's not dripping everywhere. I use a coton swab or the tip of the bottle to spread the lube around... a little goes a long way. In my Mag I simply place afew drops in the line close to the valve and dry fire it without the barrel a few times. Hope that helps... if not let me know...

Can you fill the smaller containers from the larger one? I like the convenience of the smaller bottle but want to purchase the larger bottle.

GREAT! excellent stuff.

... now what? do I have to buy "Hater Sauce"? that just sounds stupid!

What is the next best quality?

Since KC Trouble free was biodegradable and approved by the FDC can I make my own? Extra Virgin Olive Oil?

Had quick flip thru pbreview and Hoppes gun oil has been rated well. It is the oil recommended by Tippman.

May work nicely with mags?

Hater Sauce is an excellent lube, but not for use in Mags. I'm currently looking for an alternative oil for the Mags as KC was an excellent product. If you need something in a pinch Gold Cup oil is ok....
