Looks like it's not an auction but a "Buy It Now" only sale.

Forest once told me that there were only 500 made. I had one with the original gray ano, and traded it for the Micrococker. It was fun to play with.

Ive seen one almsot exactly the same sell for less than $300. I thought that guy was making a good sale at nearly 300. :)

the right person looking for one of those (or all of them) might pay that much..
don't let heather see it! :D
(or was that only with vert feed ones?)

Now what I am interested in is it's says low serial number, why not post the number?

The first gen Micro's are rare, though I don't think $900 rare...unless it's FX00001

That's my local store owner actually. He's been in business for 20 years and knows mags. I just don't think he is very up to date on marker re-sale and Ebay practices. Like he advertised, its intended for collectors.

Or it is a switch sale listing getting people to look at his other paintball items ;) Think of the hits he is getting from Forum listings and the casual user thinking "oh what else is he asking too much for...oh no wait, he isn't I want that!" Good advert I reckon.

Heh, Heather bought my gray one for $80 or $120 (I forget). Nice gun but had bad experiences with it, blew up a lot of paint since you had to turn the velocity up quite a bit to compensate for the short barrel. Made the gun suck air like a Shocker on crack too.

mods:

I didn't think the "s&@!t" would get edited. Sorry. Thanks for changing it if you thought it would be more appropriate.

Yeah, I think this guy is a little out of touch with re-sale these days. I got a micro a couple of months ago that was NIB :wow: I bought it off of this Canadian guy. He bought it and liked the anno so much he never played with it. It does a very cool anno though. It doesn't have a scratch on it and has never been fired. I'll post pics if I can ever get my hands on a digital camera that works when I need it. It has all matching parts: Armson barrel, body, frame, and even the duckbill. And I bought it for $250...... :D

Depending on how low the serial actually is, I dont think the prices is THAT far off. How many actual first generation micromags do you see for sale these days?

Just got an email back from the guy, the serial number is "GFX000248" Not what I was expectiong....

I got that body now. Though it's just the body.

I have been a fan of the micro's since I saw them and would love to get my hands on one of the 1st generations but am I the only one that thinks the splash ano like that is ugly as sin?

no, your right, splash anno is like the annoist ate paint, vomited it up and decided to do the gun just like that

Way to much.

They are kinda rare but that doesn't make them desirable....plus all were hard anno'd so that one isn't even original anymore.

2-300 tops ( and only for a collector) IMO.

BTW, I have like 5 of 'em. :D

That looked familiar, so I checked. I have GFX000284.

I also have GFX003293, would that be original for a unibody micro?

Micros and valve SN#'s really have no corrolation. They aren't tracked that way and only gives a rough idea of time frame. All first gen micros 'should' have GFX #'s in the low hundreds generally tho.
