What makes a mag a spydermag?

You take a electronic spyder frame and modify it so it can trip the sear of an automag. The current options is modifying the sears, turning the solenoid around, or turning the solenoid around and modifying sears (this is only done by luke). Its a great cheap way to make your automag electronic;.

These instructions are easier to follow>>

PM me.
I'll send you an invoice.
You send PayPal payment, then send the parts to me.

It dosen't get easier than that.

How well does it work? Is it worth it for a long time use? Like would you want to upgrade it afterawhile or is it good as it is?

I thought about making my mag into a spydermag...but my Spyder is an old mech Spyder, Pre-2000...so I figured what's the use? All that would do is make my Spyder inoperable...unless...I put the Mag lowers on the Spyder!?

But on a more serious note...will any electrospyder lowers work?

I put about 20000 shots through the red/black Karta in that pic before I traded it off for my X-mag. So it works VERY well, and I never experienced any problems with it besides outshooting my revy :)

As far as frames, I think it will work with any spyder/clone frame. Luke had some really nice ones on his site at one point that looked to be made a lot better quality than the standard spyder/clone frmaes that I have seen out there.

Luke... If I get you a vert frame, solenoid, board, and switch - could you turn it into a spyderframe? Make it work somehow?

Will you be my Katie Couric?

Find a cheap used electro spyder and you have a start.....

BTW if anyone is thinking about getting your Spydermag job done by Luke, stop. Thinking about that is very bad and it's a waste of time. Just do it. He does incredible work. My mag is crazy fast now. His work is clean and most important of all it's fast as hell.

I read that and was like... What?
