I got a classic valve in a trade a while back. The thing was prett beat up cosmetically, the back of the valve was actually hack-sawed for some reason. I put on a different reg charger and aired the valve up. It was leaking pretty severely. Seemed like it was coming out of the power tube. I didn't have any level 7 parts so I installed a lvl 10 I had to see if the leak would stop. Same problem. I went through every carrier and shim combination I could think of to no avail. It kept leaking. Any suggestions?
