Autococker question for the AGD forums - again....

What springs do you recomend for a Sniper II pump setup? I used the stock springs with the AIM valve kit, and they seem a bit stiff.

Any exact manufacturer or place to get springs for a 2k+ setup.

Maddman makes a popular set and a lot of online retailers stock them.

It's been my experience with madman kits that they are not all that light. They are about equivalent to the old nelson spring kits, but I know there are some lighter springs out there, especially with all the e-cockers trying to make the system with as little resistance as possible.

I have a Freeflow spring kit which is markedly lighter than my Madman set. Worth a shot.

I think shocktech makes a good cocker spring set too.

I have a 98 sniper II and I was just happy to find a hammer that could take the Nelson springs :-)

Hehe wish I knew you were looking, I have like 3 or 4 of them.

The Freeflow kit might be nice....

Does Shocktech sell just a spring kit, or do you have to get their valve as well?

They have seperate kits.

Ive had those old nelson spring and hammer sets since like 99'. The real old school snipers had hammers that didnt work with other springs so you had to replace it to be able to tinker with the springs.
