I don't know who you are, but I just got a letter from the postman that looks as though it has been resealed. The envelope is empty. Who are you? What was supposed to be in there? Thanks:confused:

I will tell you NEVER again send cash in the mail! This post was all about teaching you guys a lesson. I got your cash...and your retro valve is on the way. Thank your Lucky Stars that I am an honest trader! Merry Christmas!:D

that was extremely harsh. but it really is a good lessen. never send cash. people look for these kind of things in the PO. how many peoiple would pass up on 200+ dollars? not many.

Harsh...Maybe. Necessary? Absolutely. I was not too worried about the Post office, its the unknown traders who could have easily kept the cash and just said they never received it. Then, Phatty, you would have been out of luck!

i was going to get an account there, but i didn't really feel like reading all the fine print, just to lazy. is it anything important i should know in there, or should i just forget it and get an account anyways.

Paypal is great. Do sign up. Allows for same day payment and shipping. Nothing is faster. It is well worth the couple of bucks they charge. Make sure to do the "Confirmed Shipping Address" thing.

what about all the, "read the terms and user agreement" stuff that is just to long to read, anythign important in there? and how do they bill, off of a credit card or they send a bill.

i dont remeber the fine print. they take money directly out of my checking account via a check card. quick, simple, down and dirty man. And lots of places use it especially ebay!!!

Personal accounts are free...Just give them a credit card # and a bank account # for Verification purposes. I would read the fine print. There is no monthly charge...it's a small percentage(lower than everyone else) that they will take out of your paypal account when someone pays you. Hope this helps.

I'd like to add that you don't even get charged a percentage fee if you get sent less than $100 a month.

PayPal is great. I use it. Another cheap (90 cents) and excellent way to ship money is to use postal money orders. If something happens, there is a record if the money order was ever cashed. Sending cash through the mail is stupid, plain and simple. You WILL get burned

Cash eh? A gambling man I see.... Good thing you did business with an honest trader my freind. However he did smear your name all over the post title now didn't he? Kinda hard to not be embarrased now is it? Tunaman you are mean!!!!!

Phil, The only reason I put the name up is because I got an envelope with 215.00 cash in it, and a return address with the name Andrew Reeves. I didn't know who this was(no AO screen name), and I have 3 retro trades this week. To all...Please include your AO screen name along with your Real name and parts traded. I am going nuts trying to figure this all out.

I was just kidding you but good tips Tuna...now when am I gettin my $500? ;)

Love that Pay Pal. Good traders do Pay Pal. It's a good sign when someone takes Pay Pal. Well worth the fee for thepeace of mind.

Tunaman, I'm 19 and I know that is the stupidest thing someone could do. I had my little bro do it because I was busy. He's done if before and actually sent an M/O. I was in a rush so I asked him to do it again. But when I saw this post, I asked him how he sent it. He told me he needed to get somewhere so he just put the cash in the envelope. I couldn't believe it. Thanks for being such a great guy.

blame it on the one that's not going to defend himself.
